Laila Danielle Shaker was born and raised in Northern California. At a very young age Laila fell in love with acting and performing while at a youth Shakespeare camp and soon after decided that was what she wanted to do with her life. Later on she realized her passion for acting in film and made film and television her career path.

Laila is drawn to serious, strong and unique characters, but also has a love and talent for comedy and improv.

Since starting her career at the age of fourteen, Laila has acted in numerous commercials and independent films.

Laila now studies improv at The Groundlings  and film acting at Anthony Meindl’s Actor’s Workshop in Los Angeles.
